Hearst Media Services, NOTIFICATION OF AQUATIC TREATMENT RE-SCHEDULING LAKE ZOAR - MONROE, NEWTOWN, OXFORD, SOUTHBURY In accordance with CT DEP, Pesticide Division notification requirements, selected areas of Lake Zoar will be chemically treated with Reward (Diquat) herbicide and copper sulfate algaecide, targeting control the aquatic nuisance plants Eurasian watermilfoil and curlyleaf pondweed. The treatment is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2015 and will commence at approximately 4 PM. If the treatment does not occur on July 8th, the back-up date will be Wednesday, July 15th. Prior to treatment, the lake shoreline (in the treatment areas and at public access sites) will be posted with printed signs in accordance with DEEP requirements. Treated areas will be closed to all water uses (including, swimming, fishing and boating) on the day of treatment only. A map showing the specific treatment areas will be posted at the State Boat Ramp and at other public access sites, prior to treatment. The temporary water use restrictions associated with this product to be applied are as follows: no swimming, fishing or boating on the day of treatment; no use of the lake water for irrigation, watering livestock or for drinking/cooking purposes for 5 days, commencing on the day of treatment. These temporary water use restrictions apply only to the designated treatment areas. Information on the specific date of application may be obtained from the person named below. SOQ's must be received at the office of the Purchasing Manager, 1000 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631 before 5:00 p.m. on August 6, 2015. No proposals shall be withdrawn after receipt of the proposals without the consent of the City of Greeley, Colorado, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of receipt of the proposals. This project is a joint effort with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). When federal-aid highway funds (CMAQ) participate in the contract, a local agency (City of Greeley) must comply with federal and state procedures when obtaining professional consultant services. The Department has determined the contract goal for UDBE participation in this Contract will be met with certified UDBE's who have been determined to be underutilized on professional service contracts. Denver Post, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority (the "Authority") will conduct a public hearing concerning the approval of the issuance by the Authority of its tax-exempt Charter School Revenue Bonds (James Irwin Educational Foundation Project) Series 2015 in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $27,000,000 (the "Bonds"). The proceeds from the sale of the Bonds will be loaned to and used by James Irwin Educational Foundation (the "Foundation"), for a plan of finance for the following purposes: (a) financing and refinancing the acquisition, construction, and equipping of educational facilities located at: (i) 5525 Astrozon Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80916; (ii) 1801 N. Howard Ave., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909; and/or (iii) 2525 Canada Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80922; each in the County of El Paso, Colorado (collectively, the "Facilities"); (b) funding a bond reserve fund, (c) financing capitalized interest on the Bonds, if necessary; and (d) paying the costs of issuance of the Bonds (collectively, the "Project"). El Paso Times, ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDSSealed Bids for the Red Bluff Dam - Spillway Capacity Improvements, Phase II - Concrete Parapet Wall Project will be received at the office of the Red Bluff Water Power Control District, 111 West 2nd Street, Pecos, TX, 79772, no later than 1:00 P.M. local time on August 4, 2015, and then at said place publicly opened and read aloud. Work includes the furnishing of the labor, materials, supplies, equipment and services for construction of the following: Site clearing; construction survey staking; installation of storm water pollution prevention measures; grading; and construction of a 9,200 linear feet long low concrete parapet wall across the top of Red Bluff Dam. Copies of the Contract Documents may be reviewed at or purchased for $50.00 from HDR, 4401 West Gate Blvd, Suite 400, Austin, TX, 78745, Attn: Lisa Singer, (512) 912-5100.
